Make fire with a lemon

What You’ll Need
– one lemon
– six copper fasteners (copper clips)
– six zinc nails
– wire
– steel wool

Here’s how to make your own lemon fire starter:

Step 1: Roll the lemon between your palms to soften it up

Softening up the lemon will help you insert the clips and nails into the lemon in the next step.

Step 2: Stick the copper clips into the lemon, spaced about a centimeter apart, creating a row of clips.

Ensure you just push the clips in about halfway so you have space to join the wire.

Step 3: Add some zinc nails to create another row, about an inch away from the copper clips

Make sure the copper clips and the zinc nails don’t touch each other inside of the lemon, and that each clip has one nail directly facing it, and vice versa.
